Theoretical and Practical Training Session

At the request of Petronas Carigalli SDN. BHD. (PCSB), the Zingametall team headed to Labuan in Malaysia to conduct a Theory and Practical Session for the Maintenance Crew of Petronas and Petra. The objective of the training session is to familiarise the trainees on the importance to observe and adhere to the correct processes of using ZINGA to mitigate corrosion for Front Line Maintenance (FLM).

The 3 Step Process entails:

1. Clean – SSPC-SP1
2. Remove – ST2/ST3
3. Apply – Minimum 140 microns DFT of ZINGA

A certificate of competency was issued to trainees who successfully underwent the training session.

Zingametall ensures the importance of the maintenance crew following the correct procedure for proper surface preparation and corrosion mitigation with ZINGA.
